Neema and Jason’s outdoor Wisconsin wedding was what dreams are made of. If you believe love is destined to be, this love story is your proof you’re correct. Because of this fate, Neema and Jason hosted an unforgettable wedding at Wisconsin’s beautiful Maidenwood wedding and events venue.

Their Love Story

Neema sat one day thinking about her future, when she received a sign that on a specific day in 2020 she would meet the love of her life. Around the same time Jason, also received a sign that he would find his true love. After an online meet during the pandemic, they knew they needed to meet in person.

Their date was a hit. They bonded over a bible verse that resonated strongly with each of them. Their commonalities brought them closer than they ever could have imagined.

They choose September 11th to be their wedding date, as it was the date they felt they were destined to start their life together. After visiting Maidenwood Weddings and Events, Neema knew this was the venue they needed to book and so she did immediately.

The wedding venue

Only a short distance from Minneapolis, MN, is Stockholm, WI. It is home to this beautiful wedding venue. A dirt takes you through most of your journey, allowing you to see the beauty Wisconsin offers. It feels like you may have taken a wrong turn, but the rustic entrance truly adds to the venue’s charm. The venue is used year-round as a family home and may not seem like a venue at first. When you arrive you take a right into a grass parking lot, tall trees hiding the stunning venue.

As you approach the buildings, you find a large white building and a charming farm house. The garage-like structure boasts large doors and tall ceilings. It’s covered patio sits next to a large yard space. It is the perfect structure for a wedding reception and cocktail tables.

The farmhouse includes a quaint area of the building with a large room filled with tall windows. Natural light makes this perfect for make-up application and creating your ideal wedding up-do. Maidenwood worked hard to decorate this suite with a vintage make-up table, an antique mirror, and the most adorable wallpaper.

Where Maidenwood wedding and events really stands out is their wedding ceremony choices. Whether you would like a pine forest backdrop or a valley overlooking lake pepin, both make stunning examples of a nature filled ceremony.
